Most sellers come to us after the same experience. The horse has been on one portal for months, the enquiries are either silence or people who were never going to buy, and nobody has explained why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selling a horse in Europe is not difficult, but it is a job: writing the advert so it reaches the right rider, choosing the right sites, answering buyers in their own language, and staying honest enough that the deal survives the vetting. That is the part we do.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The horses we take on<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jumping horses, from talented young stock to horses with a competition record. We work with a small number at a time, because every horse gets written up, photographed properly and advertised deliberately rather than added to a list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What matters more than the price bracket is whether the horse is described honestly. If there is a vet finding, a quirk or a rider it does not suit, tell us at the start. We will still take the horse and we will still sell it — buyers accept far more than sellers expect. What kills a sale is the same thing discovered at the pre-purchase exam.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

FEES<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What it costs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Two parts: a fixed fee to get the horse advertised, paid before publication, and a commission on the final sale price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n

The fee depends on how much of the work is ours. If you already have good photographs and video, it sits at the lower end. If we travel to the horse, film it and produce the material ourselves, it is higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You get the exact figure, and the commission percentage, in writing before you commit to anything. If you decide against it, you have paid nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invoices are issued from Estonia. Private sellers are invoiced with VAT; businesses with a valid EU VAT number are invoiced under the reverse-charge rule, without VAT.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We are not dealers taking a hidden margin. You set the price, and you see exactly what the buyer pays.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The buyer pays the seller directly. Our commission is invoiced to you after the sale is completed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

We do not take every horse<\/h3>\n

If we cannot sell it, saying so straight away is worth more to you than an advert that sits there for months.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Selling to a foreign buyer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Most of our buyers are not in the seller’s country. That changes three practical things, and they are best sorted out before the first enquiry rather than during a negotiation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paperwork.<\/strong> The passport, UELN and registration papers need to be present and correct. A missing or out-of-date passport stops an export dead, and it always surfaces at the worst moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vetting.<\/strong> A foreign buyer will usually send their own vet or ask for X-rays before travelling. Recent images and a clear history make that step short instead of fatal. Transport.<\/strong> The buyer arranges and pays for it, normally after the vetting. Your horse stays where it is until it is sold. Nothing is shipped on approval.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>

Is your price right?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The most common reason a good horse does not sell is that it is priced for the seller’s feelings rather than for the market it is advertised in. Read them before you decide your number, and then tell us the number you will actually accept, not the one you would like to see on the advert.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do I have to sell exclusively through you?<\/h3>\n

No. The agreement is non-exclusive. You can keep the horse advertised elsewhere and keep selling it yourself.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How long is the horse advertised?<\/h3>\n

Two months, and it can be extended. If the horse sells, or you change your mind, you can withdraw it with short written notice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Who does the buyer pay?<\/h3>\n

You. The money goes straight from buyer to seller. We invoice our commission to you after the sale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Does the horse have to travel anywhere?<\/h3>\n

No. The horse stays in your yard, in your routine, with your rider. Buyers come to it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What if it does not sell?<\/h3>\n

Then you have paid the listing fee and no commission, and you will have had honest feedback on why. Usually the price, sometimes the video. Both are fixable.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We advertise horses standing in Europe. Our buyers come from across Europe and the United States.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
